Bear René are delighted to have been appointed as the interior design firm to carry out a sympathetic refurbishment of renowned Thomas Goode, home to the world's finest tableware, china, silverware and glassware, situated in the heart of Mayfair.

Founded in 1827, Thomas Good & Co. is located on South Audley Street in London, and it has served and provided for some of the world’s most notable families including the British Royal Family, it currently holds two royal warrants.

Thomas Goode has recently been taken over by entrepreneur Johnny Sandleson, who’s previous projects include the Carlyon Bay Hotel redevelopment in St Austell, Cornwall and the redevelopment of Somerset Place in Bath, where he oversaw the restoration of the Grade 1 listed Georgian crescent houses and apartments.

Sandleson’s passion for period properties and historic residences positions him as the ideal new owner for the British institution that is Thomas Goode. Bear René, interior design champions of British craftsmanship, will be working closely with Sandleson to gently upgrade the current store.
